Our Story
HOME-aide was built on a simple belief — that older people deserve support that goes beyond basic care, and that the families around them deserve the knowledge to help well.
Our services grew from years of working directly with older people and their families — seeing what practical help looks like in the real world, and understanding the difference between what people need and what they are usually offered.
Our courses grew from something more personal. Watching a family member navigate dementia. Recognising, too late, the things we would have done differently. Deciding that other families deserved to know what we wished we had known.
Everything HOME-aide does is grounded in that experience — and in the belief that understanding, practical help and compassion are the three things that make the real difference.
